One question we have received a number of times already: Who is the woman on the book's back cover? She is a British anti-globalization protester displaying a banner out the window of a train between Calais, France and Ventimiglia, Italy, on July 19, 2001. She was one of thousands of protesters who poured into Genoa, Italy, during the Group of Eight summit later that month. The photo was taken by Michel Spingler for Associated Press.
