Many Thanks

Rethinking Schools expresses deep gratitude to Managing Editor Barbara Miner for her many years of outstanding work with the journal. We wish her well as she departs to pursue other career goals.

Miner began work with Rethinking Schools in 1991 on our first book, Rethinking Columbus, and has overseen production of each issue of the journal since then. She also co-edited a number of our books, including Rethinking Our Classrooms and Failing Our Kids. Her last issue as managing editor is the Summer 2002 issue (Vol. 16 #4).

We will miss Barbara's energy and many talents. We are grateful to her for helping build Rethinking Schools into what it is, and look forward to collaborating with her on future projects.
